UniSeal® EMS/EMT High Risk Safety Gloves are one the toughest of Latex disposable gloves. These Heavy Duty High Risk Safety Gloves have superior thickness, fit, feel and durability. They are tough and reliable, yet also exceptionally comfortable.
Gloves are the first-Line of defense for First Responders who uniquely encounter extraordinarily adverse conditions. Having protection of the highest order is a requirement that cannot be compromised. For dangerous, challenging work and environments, EMS/EMT professionals choose UniSeal® Gloves for protection they can count on.
UniSeal® High Risk Safety gloves were developed with High Risk hazardous tasks, Emergency services and specialized Healthcare practitioner's needs in mind. With a thicker ( 10mil ) barrier of protection ( more than twice as much as regular exam gloves ) and a longer extended cuff ( 12" ), heavy duty High Risk Safety gloves provide extra protection for EMS/EMT personnel in dangerous, challenging environments of potential high-risk levels. They also have a Micro-Textured finish providing a more secure grip.
With their thickness, sensitivity, and gripping ability, it's not surprising that these EMS/EMT High Risk gloves are an EMS/EMT and Law Enforcement favorite!
Medical grade exam gloves include latex examination gloves and non-latex synthetic exam gloves such as Nitrile gloves and Vinyl gloves. These disposable exam gloves are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). FDA makes sure that manufacturers of these devices meet performance criteria such as leak resistance, tear resistance, etc.
The protection offered by a disposable Medical grade exam glove, referred to as its barrier effectiveness, is the ability of the exam glove to withstand viral penetration. Gloves that pass Viral Penetration Tests (ASTM1671D) provide an effective barrier against bloodborne pathogens, as mandated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
DON'T BE FOOLED - BY B GRADE GLOVES
Also known as off-line gloves or industrial grade gloves. They are not medical grade. These are either made to not meet medical gloves standards in the first place, or they fail in pinhole rates or specifications in quality control, and are downgraded from medical grade to B grade. These gloves are usually labeled as disposable gloves and cannot be labeled as exam gloves, and do not provide barrier protection against Hazardous Materials, Toxic Chemicals, Biological Risks (known and unknown) and other pathogens.
